It is all about our vibration.
How we feel is the clearest sign of how plugged into the essence of who we are and came to be on this earthly journey.
When waves are mellow and light, we can enjoy the ride, and choose bliss.
It is easy to feel amazing when our reality reflects the love vibe that powers all life isn't it?
But dense and dark waves come in and flow, bringing unexpected deaths that leave us without breath. Bliss is now out of reach. Our vibrational alignment is goooooooneeeee. Feeling good is now buried under the muck.
So... what can we do?
Find the hidden breath among the waters of death. Choose to listen deeply, and trust what we hear. Receive even the tiniest relief from any source that resonates with our path.
Yoga is one of those sources for me. There are many different lineages -Ashtanga, Yin, Sivananda, Jivamukti, Bikram, Kundalini and Iyengar among others. They're all deep gateways into the treasures of our Body-Soul. For me Kundalini Yoga as taught by Yogi Bhajan, is the practice that leads back home when I have lost it all.
It is spring now, green, lush and blasting with life, and its chilly wind is so similar to fall it awakens my usual experience in that season. Fall is the most challenging time of the year for me. It brings the vibration of sudden tragic death into my Body-Soul. The death of my dad. Groundlessness takes over. Breath is lost and all becomes dense and tense.
Our Body-Soul stores every imprint. It is not about being in victim mode, just authentic -wholesome-fearless grieving. In shattered times (fall, spring or any intense season of life!), Kundalini Yoga holds my body-soul tenderly, and carries me back to feeling alive, centered and cozy in my skin and bones.
Kundalini Yoga works our physical-emotional-mental and spiritual being, through Kriyas: sets of asanas, mantras, meditation, yantras. It holds sacred space and guides us into vibrational alignment once again.
Kirtan Kriya is a beloved friend, as it supports the eternal SA -TA -NA- MA- Birth-Life-Death-Rebirth cycle. I will be leading a virtual Kirtan Kriya and Star Process™ Virtual/Online Journey soon. More details coming soon.
